Introduction…

Raised on a secluded ranch north of Goleta, California, Maxton Hunter's imagination ran free, ultimately leading him to music at a very young age. Rather than identify with a single instrument, his truest voice is found in the studio blending psychedelic folk-rock with ambient soundscapes and Indian fusion.

Beyond his solo pursuits, he’s the co-founder of Positively State Street, a member of the blues-rock quartet East Valley Road, as well as the live drummer for cinematic pop-folk artist Hunter Hawkins and singer-songwriter Evan Blix.

Previously, Hunter worked for the artist advocacy company Ari's Take, notably co-producing the Webby Award-winning New Music Business Podcast and shepherding marketing efforts for the #1 bestseller How to Make It In The New Music Business (Third Edition). Now with ParSonics Studio, Hunter balances his time overseeing branding, social media, and the official Alan Parsons archive.
